ARTCAN2025: Open Call for the First International Digital Art Exhibition in the Canary Islands

Artcan 2025

We’ve just launched the open call for ARTCAN2025, a project I’m truly excited about. It’s part of the upcoming NFTCanarias2025 event this November. This exhibition brings together works that inhabit the “phygital” space—where physical and digital realities merge. We’re looking for artists working in animation, 3D modeling, video art, generative art, tokenized physical objects, and other formats that explore this hybrid language. A total of 30 artists will be selected to participate and bring fresh visual narratives into this unique context.

For this edition, I’m collaborating with Mexican artist Julio Sahagún, a sculptor, photographer, and 3D modeler whose work I’ve long admired. Julio was one of the invited artists at the 52WAD 2024 exhibition, and now joins ARTCAN2025 as our guest curator. Together, we’ll be selecting the participating works with the goal of creating an exhibition that’s not just a gallery space, but a poetic, critical, and immersive experience. If you feel your work resonates with this vision, you’re warmly invited to apply. See you in November, in the Canary Islands.
